Oz Campground (Where GCF headquarters is located) is directly in the path of the eye. I hope you'll consider joining me in supporting the growth of GCF. Whether it's a small or large contribution, every bit truly helps. Let's make that difference, together.
You may not know this, but historically, Gay Camping Friends has not asked for compensation from LGBT campgrounds for hosting our regional events and has not received a cut from ticket costs. Your contributions will allow us to continue providing top-notch regional, national and local events; enhance our operational support; form new partnerships; and provide resources to our gay campground owners to create even better camping experiences for our members.
Opportunities start to open up for GCF to reflect on its website and app projects as well as do more things for the gay camping community such as hosting a gay campground owners summit or starting to become more self-sufficient.
Friends With Benefits Program : Of course the campground is open to our straight friends as well
That's why we are launching this campaign. We cover our minimum budget plus some welcome technology, education, and marketing materials costs. I started GCF as a way to connect with like-minded individuals and foster a sense of community among gay campers.
We have so many things we want to do with GCF as we grow like video, newsletters, finishing the app, a cookbook, panels, more local focus, and more. Those branded gazebos and signs aren't cheap! We just need a boost to get us going so that we can start to get things rolling.
As of writing this we have also never accepted money from a corporate sponsor. Now we get to add some fun GCF-organized items at our meetups and start to revisit our website for needed updates! Please share this campaign with your friends and family, and let's make the next chapter of GCF's journey even more exciting and impactful.
This growth has also created new challenges, and it has become increasingly difficult to fund the organization and its operations.
